KIRKMAN, Brian

Passed away peacefully in his 94th year, loved and surrounded by family.

Dearly loved, adored, cherished and loving:

Husband of Shirley (dec.) of 66 years.

Dad of Azana, Stephen, Leanne and Susie.

Father-in-law and friend of Mark, Sophie, Paul and Simon.

Pop of his 10 Grandchildren and Great Pop of his 3 Great Grandchildren.

Son of Florence Kirkman (dec.) and nephew of Auntie Nellie (dec.).

Youngest brother of Gladys, Mildred, Roy, Dorothy, Alan and Jean (all dec.).

Dad made the brave decision to immigrate to Australia from England on his own when he was 17; he made a wonderful life and family here with our beautiful Mum. Dad was so loving, kind, generous and such a hard worker to provide for his family. We are extremely grateful for his long and well-lived life – he was our protector and we admired his strength right up until the end.

Now reunited with his beloved Wife, adored Mum and Auntie and all his brothers and sisters.

Sleep peacefully our cherished Dad and Pop. We have such wonderful memories of the fun things Dad has said and done. He lives on in all of us and will remain in our hearts for eternity.

Sincere thanks to the wonderful staff and residents of Kanangra Aged Care, Deloraine for their compassionate care of Dad. Dad loved his Kanangra family and we are grateful for your kindness and the joy you brought to Dad’s daily life.
