LARUCA, Jose

Passed away peacefully in his sleep at his nursing home on Thursday, March 19. Jose leaves his wife, Rosa Francisco, two beloved daughters Sandrine Brouk and Marie-Claire McCubbery along with 4 adored grandchildren Lola Brouk, and Daniel, Cian and Isabelle McCubbery. Born in Casablanca in French Morocco in 1933, then living, performing military service and working in Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland and then Morocco, before moving with the family to Australia in 1972. Jose enjoyed a full and rewarding life, where he gave back to everyone he met and worked with. Now forever singing with Yves Montand and the rest of the choir. Memorial service to be in April or May, details to follow.
