TIMMINS, Gwendoline 'Gwen'

LAVic was saddened to learn of the recent passing of Little Athletics Victoria Life Governor, Gwendoline ‘Gwen’ Timmins.

An enduring voluntary official, administrator and leader of the Victorian Little Athletics movement at Club, Centre, Region, State and National levels since 1985.

Life Member, Royal Ascot Little Athletics Club, 1990; Life Member Essendon Little Athletics Centre, 1993; Life Governor Victorian Little Athletics Association, 2005; Member Little Athletics Australia Hall of Fame, 2020.

Gwen’s contribution to Little Athletics - and her impact on thousands of young Victorians over four decades - was enormous.
