John passed away peacefully, at Oz Care Port Douglas, on Saturday 14th March 2026, aged 71 years. Most dearly loved son of the late Jack & Irene Hanrahan, loved brother, brother in law, uncle & cousin of the Hanrahan, Raciti, Hanrahan-McPhail, Ball, O’Donohue & Beezley families. John will be sadly missed. John was a long term resident of Endeavour Foundation & past long term employee of Endeavour Industries (the Workshop) for 47 years and a member of Sundowners Ten Pin Bowling Team for many years.
All family, relatives and friends of JOHN HANRAHAN are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Mass, which will be celebrated on TUESDAY MORNING 31st March 2026, commencing at 10.00am at St Monica’s Cathedral, 183 Abbott Street, Cairns City, followed by interment at the Cairns Martyn Street, Cemetery.
John’s family sincerely thank staff of Endeavour Foundation, Endeavour Industries & staff of Oz Care Port Douglas for the exceptional care he received.
