It is with great sadness Libby's family advise of her passing on Sunday, 10th May 2026, in the Mater Private Hospital.

Libby was the youngest child of Pat and Mick McCarthy (both dec'd). The sister of Patricia Doyle and Kathlyn and the late Fr Bill McCarthy.

Libby's funeral service will be held in St Bernards Catholic Church, Klump Road, Upper Mt Gravatt, on Thursday, 28th May 2026, commencing at 10.30 a.m. followed by a burial at Mt Gravatt Cemetery.
