Son of Stewart (Dec'd) and Dulcie McDonald (Dec'd). Brother and Brother-in-law of Nina (Dec'd)and Peter(Dec'd); Anne (Dec'd) and Ted (Dec'd); Colin (Dec'd) and Judy (Dec'd); Bill and Marietta; Jenny and Peter (Dec'd); Sandy and Trish and formerly Judy. Much loved Uncle to Greg, Marg, Diana and Janet; Geoff, Paul and Judy; Wayne, Julie (Dec'd), Peter and Stuart; Angela and Paul; Susan; Christian, Rachel and Patti. Cousin to many.

Doug took the count early on 3 August 2026 at home in Manly. He was a long time and respected member of the Manly community and will be sadly missed by us all. His funeral will be held at 11am on Tuesday 18 August at the Wynnum Presbyterian Church, Bay Terrace, Wynnum.
