Murray Irrigation Ltd will host an information session for prospective directors on Friday, April 19, from 10am to noon.
MIL is calling for nominations from eligible individuals to fill at least two director vacancies on the company’s board.
MIL lost three directors in a boardroom battle that concluded on Wednesday, April 10.
Nominations have been invited for both member director and non-member director roles.
Member directors must be either shareholders of Murray Irrigation or an authorised representative of a company which is a shareholder of Murray Irrigation.
Non-member directors must not be shareholders.
Friday’s information session will cover the roles and responsibilities of a Murray Irrigation director, directors’ legal duties, and information about MIL and the election process.
Attendance at the information session was required by notice expiring on Thursday, April 18.
Written nominations for the director positions must be lodged with Murray Irrigation's returning officer either in person, via post or email by 5pm on Friday, April 26.
