From early morning to the afternoon, there’s something for everyone at the iconic local event.
Gates to the Corowa Showgrounds open at 6:30 am, allowing time for the horses to prepare for a day full of action. All the competition kicks off at 8:30 am, with Sara Love serving as Ringmaster for a series of exciting equestrian events spread across four rings in the main arena.
The Corowa Pony Club and Ironbark Equestrian have organised additional competitions, starting at 9:00 am on the Pony Club’s grounds, ensuring a full day of horseback riding excitement.
Show rides and entertainment
The gates to the public open at 9:30 am, marking the start of the much-anticipated Show rides.
This year, Showman's Guild members have promised an exciting array of rides for thrill-seekers of all ages, with many rides arriving a week ahead of the event. While the Show Society does not control the pricing of the rides, they have worked hard to keep entry costs low.
Free fun for the family
In addition to the thrilling rides, attendees can enjoy a range of free activities. A mobile shearing display will be set up near the Main Pavilion, showcasing the skills of local shearers.
For the younger crowd, Troppo Bob, an energetic magician, will be performing throughout the day. Known for his fun and interactive performances, he will entertain guests with his magic tricks, create animal balloons for the kids, and even host a flea circus.
Adding to the entertainment, Circus McCabe will offer circus classes, where attendees can learn various circus tricks and skills.
New and returning competitions
Last year’s introduction of the Rooster Crowing Competition was a huge success, and it’s returning this year at 12:30 pm outside the Poultry Pavilion. Kids are encouraged to participate for a chance to win prizes for the best crowing!
The Decorated Bicycle Competition is also back, with a special prize sponsored by SportsPower for the most creative and eye-catching bike decorations. So grab your paint, glitter, and ribbons and get creative!
The 2025 Corowa Show is shaping up to be a must-attend event, packed with fun, community spirit, and plenty of local flair.
