Corowa Clay Target Club hosted the Riverina Zone Champion of Champions on Sunday, September 24.

With more than 50 shooters in attendance the 75 target mixed medley event started with 25 targets of double barrel, followed by 25 targets of single barrel and 25 targets of point score to complete championship event.
John Gemmill, AA grade, of Cobram shot superbly in the first two rounds to come away with 25/25 DB and 25/25 SB.
He then went on to shoot 72/75 in the point score section which was enough to secure the title of Riverina Zone Champion of Champions with a total score of 122/125.
Daryl Hunt of Wangaratta took out second in AA grade with a tidy score of 121/125, while Rodney Green of Corowa shot superbly to take out first in A grade with 121/125 also.
A grade second was won by Cody Edwards from Wodonga after a shoot off with Anton Motha from Wangaratta.
Cody ended up with a score of 151/160.
First in B grade was Phil Woods 117/125, second Trevor Harbour 109/125, first in C grade was Brandon Pieper 110/125, second Luke Doering 97/125.
John Gemmil also took out the Overall and the Veterans High Guns, Lesley Wojtowyez earned the Ladies High Gun 107/125 and Luke Doering took out the Juniors High Gun 97/125.
