Boss Unai Emery is now one win away from a fifth title in a competition he specialises in and only Bundesliga outfit Freiburg stand between Villa and their first major trophy in 30 years.
Freiburg benefitted from an early red card for visitors Braga before posting a 3-1 win and 4-3 comeback on aggregate.
At Villa Park in Birmingham, the hosts came into the second leg trailing to Chris Wood's penalty last week, but no one knows their way around a Europa League semi-final better than Emery.
His side turned the tie around in style as goals from Ollie Watkins, Emiliano Buendia and John McGinn's quickfire double earned victory on the night and booked their place in the Istanbul final on May 20.
Watkins paid tribute to Emery.
"There is no better manager to get us prepared for this game and obviously take us into the final as well. His track record speaks for itself," Watkins said on TNT Sports.
"Everyone worked so hard. It is hard to pick a man of the match - we were all amazing."
Freiburg have never been in a European final and never won a major trophy.
But their initial dreams came true after the seventh-minute dismissal of Mario Dorgeles opened the door for Lukas Kübler's brace and Johan Manzambi to sealing the result and progression.
Braga, who won the first leg against Freiburg 2-1 at home, lost the Europa League final to Porto in 2011 and they will have to wait for another appearance.
Winning the Europa League offers a place in next season's Champions League.
At Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace soared into their first European final after Conference League top scorer Ismaila Sarr scored his ninth goal in the competition to claim a 2-1 semi-final second-leg victory over Shakhtar Donetsk.
It was undoubtedly the most important fixture in nearly 102 years in Palace's history, the hosts entering with a 3-1 first-leg advantage to settle the tie 5-2 on aggregate.
Daniel Munoz instigated a Pedro Henrique own goal to open the scoring in the 25th minute, cancelled out by Eguinaldo's stylish wake-up call of an equaliser before the break.
Sarr punched Palace's tickets to a Leipzig final against Rayo Vallecano on May 28 inseven minutes into the second half, extending his scoring streak to five consecutive Conference League matches.
Adam Wharton said it was an "incredible feeling."
"First trophy last year in 120 years and we're trying to get another for the fans, it means everything to them," Wharton told TNT Sports. "You get goosebumps, it's incredible."
Vallecano beat Strasbourg 1-0 for a 2-0 win on aggregate.
