Friends, families, workmates, schools and sporting clubs are all welcome to participate for the cause this Sunday, May 24 at 1pm on the Tocumwal Foreshore.
Dress up is an option, but there will be prizes for best dressed along with the teams who come first, second or third.
Rotary would love to see our local clubs, shops and community groups represented.
Registration is $30 per team or $5 per person to go into a mixed team.
If the challenge itself isn’t for you, head along to support those participating for a great cause.
There will be a sausage sizzle and MND merchandise for sale, with all proceeds going to Fight MND.

Tocumwal Lions Club members visited Sacred Heart School last week to donate a new sound system.
The Lions Club wanted the School to have a new system for their performances, assemblies and school activities.
The Lions Club is always happy to support their local youth.

Residents at the Tocumwal Lions Community Hostel enjoyed some fierce competition last week at their day of fun playing carpet bowls.
There was a lot of ‘coaching’ by fellow teammates, some ‘close ones’, some ‘not so close ones’ and a whole lot of laughs.

Join Sacred Heart School Tocumwal for their information evening for 2027 prospective kinder students and their families.
The session will be held on Wednesday, May 20 from 4.30pm to 5.15pm in the school library on Charlotte St, Tocumwal.
While families are attending the session, any children are welcome to enjoy a supervised play session and fresh fruit in the school hall.

It’s not too late to join in with the Harlequin Riverina Round Dance Club workshop of jive dance lessons.
The eight week course started last week, but you can still join in for the rest of the sessions to learn the basic moves of the jive and enjoy some social time.
The lessons are held in the Lions Function Rooms at 5-7 Adams St, Tocumwal and are $10 per dancer per night.

Registrations are open for the Can Assist Tocumwal Charity Bowls Day on Friday, June 12 at Club Tocumwal.
The event will commence at 11am with raffles on the day and prizes for the winning bowler.
Bowls and light refreshments are provided, so get a team of four together and give the Club a call on 5874 9111 to register for this great cause.
The fee is $20 per person, which is payable on the day.
All funds raised will support Can Assist Tocumwal to provide practical support to locals and their families affected by cancer.

Get your tickets for the Tocumwal Public School P&C major raffle for 2026.
The raffle is ‘Cost of Living Relief’ themed, with some incredible prizes that will come in handy for a lot of people.
First prize is a $500 fuel voucher, second prize is a $300 Haynes Butchery voucher, third prize is a $200 March’s IGA voucher, and fourth prize is a trailer load of firewood.
Tickets are $10 each and are on sale now at the school office, Tocumwal Post Office and Haynes Butchery. The draw will be held July 3.
The P&C has a goal this year of purchasing a new set of laptops for the school and your support of this raffle is greatly appreciated.
