Organised by Campaspe Cohuna Local Learning and Employment Network, and hosted by St Augustine’s College, the event brought together Year 9 students from Kyabram P-12 College, Rushworth P-12 College and St Augustine’s College.
Students selected four industries that sparked their curiosity and attended 20-minute interactive workshops where they had the opportunity to ask questions and explore the industry through activities.

Representatives from various industries attended the event and presented workshops including from the Australian Defence Force, police, real estate, disability support services, healthcare, early childhood education, architecture and IT.
Among the presenters was Vivid disability engagement manager Kelli Johns, who said she thought the event was a great concept.
She said her presentation gave the students some variety and insight into the disability sector, the role of a support worker and pathways to becoming a support worker.
