Delivered through Music Victoria, the program — also known as The Victorian Gig Fund — supports venues to host paid performances by Victorian artists.
Licensed live music venues and other eligible spaces can apply for funding of up to $11,000 to stage up to 20 gigs between December 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.
State Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes has encouraged local venues to apply.
“Labor has a proud history of supporting Victoria’s music scene, and we’re serious about supporting artists, businesses and venues that turn up the music in northern Victoria,” Ms Symes said.
“The fund helps the regional music community host live music gigs, offering more paid performance opportunities for artists and more choice for music lovers.”
Since launching in 2024, the fund has supported more than 7600 gigs by local artists.
Creative Industries Minister Vicki Ward said the government was committed to supporting live music across the state.

Applications for the 2026 round of 10,000 Gigs: The Victorian Gig Fund are open until Wednesday, September 2.
