While the Goulburn River is now below flood level, a popular road remains closed.

VicEmergency released a final flood warning for the Goulburn River from Seymour to Shepparton at 10.50am on Tuesday, June 7, with any threat now past.

At 10.30am on Tuesday, the river level was sitting at 9.36m and steady at Shepparton.

This is below the minor flood level of 9.5m.

It had dropped below minor flood level at 10.15am on Monday, but had continued to sit close to the minor flood level into the early afternoon on Monday.

On Tuesday morning, the popular Watt Rd between Mooroopna and Kialla remained closed at 11am, according to VicTraffic.

It has been closed since Saturday, after water from the Goulburn River flooded over the road.

According to VicTraffic, Raftery Rd at Kialla West – which had been closed due to flooding on the Seven Creeks – had reopened.
