Arson alert: six fires spark police probe in Shepparton

There were six separate fires, which burned about 2000sqm of grass and bush in total, police said.

Fire Rescue Victoria firefighters put out the fires.

Police believe the fires were intentionally lit and there may be witnesses who can help with inquiries.

Police investigations into the fire are ongoing.
