A special thanks goes to Rene, Jenny, Abbi and Fynn for their fantastic work selling raffle tickets and assisting with the prize presentations, and to Duty Manager Dave Murray for presenting the cheque to the Helping Hands Charity.

YMGCR Men’s Nine Holers
With Tuesday’s game washed out, the men managed to squeeze in Thursday’s game on a very cold and saturated Executive Course, but the field was split into A and B grades because of the low number of golfers.
In A grade, Ray Douglas scored a solid 22 points to take the win, nudging Michael Hope (21) by a point, with balls going to Omar Persaud (19), Glenn “Pinky” Perkins, Artie Massey and Steve Williamson (18), and Peter Mansfield, Corny Boers and Ray Scott.
In B grade, Tony Shead continued his winning ways with 22 points to win the day from Rod “Max” Nicholl on 20, with Yarrawonga’s own Willie Nelson tribute artist Norm Prior coming in close with 19 points.
Ball prizes also went to Norm “Mussels” Moule on 18, and Digger Dunne, Frank Mundy, Ian Barton, Mick Doran and Stuart Paterson on 17 each.
