B Grade

B grade came out firing this week with a 15-11 first quarter, starting confident, connected and composed.
The Rovers girls have been challenging teams recently and building to thread together a performance that had them ahead at the final whistle, and this was their week.
The Roos played well but were well matched by the Rovers, and a slight lull in the middle quarters had them trailing by six goals at three-quarter time.
They found momentum again in the final term, closing the margin and biting at the heels of the Rovers team, but left it too late to snatch a win before the final whistle.
The B grade competition is strong this year, with every team a contender; it’s a great year for netball.
There is a fire ignited within the Roos players, and they will take the bye week to reset and come back stronger, more consistent and more connected.
This round was a round of upsets so the Roos will maintain their top ladder spot, still four points clear of second.
