A sluggish start for A grade as they made some unforced errors in the first half but found form in the second half to take away a convincing win. Welcome home to Ella Kingston who has been abroad for the last 5 weeks.
Awards –
Sullivans Hair & Beauty – Liv Sinclair – Short and sharp, Liv dominated at the centre breaks and worked tirelessly towards hitting the ring and feeding the holding space.
Club 1 – Sophie Hanrahan – Turnover after turnover, Sophie shattered the confidence of her GA and set up many plays down court.
Club 2 “Essential Beauty” Award – Brooke Bice – A strong game in the centre, Brooke created many turnovers and persistently worked the space in attack.
“D’Amicos” Award – Jenni Barrett – Jenni had a goal and worked fiercely towards it.
This veteran steps up to any challenge and showed great determination to shut her player down.
Canteen Award – Jess Bice – After a positive week at training, Jess put into play what we practiced and set the attack end up for success.
B Grade
Corowa Rutherglen 60 def Albury 34
A scrappy game by both teams, nonetheless an outstanding win by a team that has proven to be a force to reckon with.
Look out for this group come finals.
Awards –
Sullivans Hair & Beauty & ‘Perfection’ Award – Kiara McLean – Captain’s game, Kiara led with drive and determination creating a lot of positive play and turnovers.
Club 1 – Eloise Maddox – Stellar game, Eloise was flying from the first whistle and intercepting balls left, right and centre.
‘DOCS Award’ – Zali Spencer – This girl has the X factor and a game sense that cannot be taught….it is all natural talent.
So glad she is on our side.
Canteen award – Annie Bell – Worked persistently to shut down her player and create plays out of defence.
C Grade

Well done to C grade.
A solid team effort by all 10 players, each bringing their own skills and game experience to each game we play, running out their opponents each week with confidence.
Awards –
Sullivans Hair & Beauty & Club 2 - Cath Wood out ran her opponent and was able bring a steadiness to the centre court.
Club 1 – Jess King brought movement to the ring and was able to give the team confidence shooting well with her long bombs!
It is a pleasure to watch!
‘D’Amicos’ Award(Players player) - Rosie Dye stood tall when being pushed around, she moved well in the ring with both Amy & Jess.
Canteen award – Jade Lane Shutting down her WA, sticking tight and intercepting the ball with plenty of air, she was always ready to pick up any stray passes and back up her team mates.

Awards – Sullivans Hair & Beauty – Ella Morley – Great defensive game.
Ella kept her opponent and adjusted well to get her hands to more balls.
Club 1 – Jemma Smith – Best game of the year ! Her defensive effort was a game changer and kept suck a steady head in attack.
Club 2 – Phoebe Osborne – Amazing defensive pressure higher up the court.
Her body angle allowed her to contest everything.
”Sportspower Award” – Ava Cofield – So Strong ! Ripped those balls in and created great plays. Awesome game Av!
Canteen Award – Molly King – Great captain’s game.
She used her angles so well to create drive down the court.
