The Cougars thank those supporters who had travelled to Baranduda ready to embrace the rain and cheer the team on.
Women’s Touch
Although the ladies didn’t get to take to the field, they still showed up ready to go for their last game.
It has been an eventful season for the women’s team who have shown up every Sunday and worn the black and white jersey with pride.
Regardless of game day outcomes, they always left the field with their heads held high and smiles on their faces.
Each week they had massive improvements and it certainly showed on the field through teamwork, confidence, growth and strength.
Men’s Tackle
The men’s season had come to an end last weekend due to the folding of the Tumbarumba Greens men’s team.
The men have had an adventurous season from the start as a new team and unsure of what the year would bring.
They eventually gelled and formed a strong force on the field.
The men’s team always left the field with the biggest smiles and laughter that could be heard across the field.
The 2026 season wouldn’t have been possible without the endless support from sponsors.
The Cougars would like to say a big thank you to Upton Engineering, Club Corowa, Waldrons IGA, Cofield Bricklaying, Corowa Distillery Co, Corowa Sportspower, Poppy Emporium, Gnomes Mobile Hairdressing, Industrial Café, TH kitchen and Joinery, Border Property Exchange, Lansy’s Creations, Essential Clean and Co, Shalew Spraying and Pest Control, Federation Steel and Industrial, JBS Australia, Symmetrix Electrical, Brocks Welding, Border Bearings, Connect Solar, Border Marine Centre, Corowa Signs, Aaricks Australia, and Meat on the Murray for their support this year.
They look forward to playing again in 2027.
