Friday was the annual Penrite teams day. The winning team was Michael Wainwright, Linda Rendell, Mary Polkinghorne and Heather Daniel with 106 points. Individual women’s winner was Kim McCaw with 38 points and men’s winner Bo Makkinga 38 points.

This week there will be golf on today with tee off at 1.30pm, Friday is 3pm, Saturday 2pm and Sunday tee off at 12.30pm.
Sunday, October 12 will be the Townies v Farmers with tee off at 12.30pm. The competition will be two person ambrose, arrange your own partner for a fun day for all golf levels.

It was good to have the course back in operation and to see the golfers out in perfect weather on Sunday for the Medley Stableford competition.
Winner was Ken Verity with a very impressive 38 points, followed by Lee Rowan with 36. NTP: 5th Aaron Purcell, 7th Ken Verity, 15th second shot Di Mitchell and 16th Campbell Rowan.
The midweek competition will be back on Wednesday, noting however that it is within the GA shutdown period.

It was a huge week on both the President’s and Captain’s courses, with the Betty Senior Women's Classic on Monday and Tuesday, plus the Spring Tournament and the start of the weekly junior competition to close out the week.
