It’s always a great game coming up against the Wangaratta Magpies. Grace Senior was once again very confident with her shots, which proved pivotal in the first half of the game.
The Roos attack end was pressured, however the girls fought through the mess.
Leading by only three goals at half-time, the Roos turned up the heat buoyed by great defensive work. The defence end worked tirelessly as a unit and reaped the benefits in the second half of the game.
Jen Barrett and Sophie also teamed well to turn the ball over in the ring, while Emily Laracy and Brooke Bice were wonderful with their defensive pressure on the centre pass. In the third quarter, the girls moved the ball with pace and execution and finished the game off with a solid win. A really great win for the girls.
