The Bombers host the Bulldogs, who have not won a game this season.
Defenders Jack Sheldon, and live wire onballer Reuben Rode will return after long-term injuries and gun defender Brad Whitford may also return.
The Bombers are also hopeful that gun utility fly-in player Rhys Clark, who played injured in the Rochester clash, will also be fit to play after the break for the interleague clash.
But first year recruit Mack Ayton, who injured a shoulder in the opening minutes of the Rochester game two weeks ago is not likely to play again this season and will join defender Jack Parkison (broken leg) and Ben Railton (shoulder) on the sidelines for the remainder of the season.
The Bombers also aren’t banking on the return of this year of goalkicking forward Anthony Depasquale, who has been a regular in VFL club Werribee’s side in recent weeks.
The Bombers will probably need to win three or four of their last five games to play finals, and two of these clashes are against the top two sides, Echuca and Shepparton.
So a win against Tatura this Saturday is a must as it meets Echuca, in Echuca, in the fourth last round the following week.
Kyabram co-coach Corey Carver said his side had its finals chances in its own destiny and this week’s clash was crucial to trying to return to the top six and ultimately earn a finals appearance.
As it is at the moment, Shepparton and Echuca are the only certain finalists, with seven teams jostling for the four other finals spots.
Other crucial contests this Saturday which will could have a bearing on the final six make-up are Shepparton Swans v Shepparton United, Shepparton v Mooroopna, Echuca v Rochester and Seymour v Mansfield.
The race for the finals looks like extending to the last home-and away round.
