Lawn White have fine-tuned their game for the finals with a comfortable win over cross town rivals Wang Hardcourt.
Lawn Blue were out of the blocks quickly and held a handy advantage after winning 4 of the first 6 sets played to set up their win. They added the icing to the cake winning 2 of the next 3 sets to win 6 sets to 3.
They now pose a major threat in the premiership race and only unavailability will stop their march towards a grand final berth.
Lawn had none better than the Hogan twins (Wendy and Robyn) who each won 3 sets.
Mario Pane played a lone hand for Hardcourt winning his 3 sets.
Corowa and Lawn Blue played out a thrilling draw at Ball Park, the result was up for grabs until the last point was played.
Lawn were leading Corowa 4 sets to 2 heading into the final 3 sets but with only a 3-game advantage.
Corowa showed their class and calmness under pressure claiming the first 2 sets.
With the match in the balance, Greg Filliponi and Craig Spencer down 5-7 and Lawn to serve, they managed to win the next 2 games to take the set to a tie break which proved enough for Corowa to achieve a draw.
Marianne Spencer (3 sets), Claire Davidson and Chris Munro were unstoppable for Corowa and Ken Parker and Robert Voss (3 sets each) were Lawn’s best.
