A Grade
Roos 42 defeated Lavington 29
A grade had a strong win to finish off the season against Lavington. Starting the game strongly the girls kept Lavington’s scoring to eight goals in the first half.
The defensive pressure on the court was very strong from Sophie and Emily.
The third-quarter saw the girls slow down their attacking pressure with Lavington outscoring them by three goals.
The girls readjusted and brought the game home strongly to finish with a 13 goal advantage.
Lou shooting at 92% did not let the defensive pressure phase her. Leah was strong in WD. Her athleticism and speed was instrumental keeping Maddie Lloyd limited.
Tamir ran out most of the game in centre showing her improvement in confidence and skill over the season.
Emily Laracy continued to be a defense force, teamed with Sophie they are the strongest defence in the O&M.
Giving every opportunity to the shooters to convert.
A grade are keen for the finals series ahead and will be training hard over the next few weeks at John Foord Oval.
Awards: Leah Keating (Club 1 & MVP), Tamir Richardson (Thrive Wellness) and Em Laracy (Ladies Committee).
B Grade

B grade were secure in the fifth placed position on the ladder but knew that they were wanting a win heading into finals.
Lavi certainly brought their best game to push the Roos girls hard with the game going goal for goal throughout but the Roos girls persisted, kept calm and were able to bring home the win.
Kelsey Bullivant was fantastic in centre, leading well and creating space in a physical game, opening up the midcourt.
Courtney Haigh was ever reliable in goalkeeper with her reach and defence over the ball as well as her ability to turn the ball over with tips and reflections a massive asset to the team.
Lisa French in goal shooter kept her cool and was able to shoot the girls into a winning position.
