A great win against a solid Katty side. It was an even first quarter, with scores tied at the first break.
A few change-ups and new combos worked well, and everyone adjusted quickly.
From there, Toc lifted the pressure and took control over the next three quarters.
Keeley Coates was on fire in the goal circle, shooting with confidence and backing in all the work she’s been doing at training.
Alana Tyndall was solid in defence and a great reset option through the midcourt, working hard all game.

The team delivered an outstanding performance, with defensive pressure setting the tone from the very start.
The whole-court transition was sharp and effective, allowing Toc to move the ball with purpose and create strong opportunities.
There was clear trust in one another across the court, which showed in seamless connections and support play.

The team showed great effort across all four quarters and continued to work hard despite the scoreboard.
There were some strong passages of play, particularly when Toc slowed the game down and used their options.
In attack, they created opportunities but will continue to work on timing and accuracy into the circle.
Through the midcourt, there was good effort to transition the ball, however improvement is needed with spacing and decision-making under pressure.
Defensively, the team worked hard to apply pressure and contest the ball.
C-reserve: Tocumwal 37 def Katamatite 18
This was the side’s first win of the season.
The defence was amazing, getting rebounds and intercepts for the midcourt to then have a beautiful flow down to the goals, with strong leads and movements from the shooters.

Fantastic win, hitting the goals that were set and putting it all together on court.
The defensive pressure was outstanding, with some great intercepts that were quickly turned into goals.
Everyone worked hard to lead to the ball and stuck to set plays, showing great teamwork and consistency across the game.

The girls played with great determination right through to the final whistle, showing strong, well-contested efforts across the entire game.
It was fantastic to see their resilience and willingness to keep pushing.

The players worked extremely hard defensively, causing a lot of turnovers.
Everyone stuck to the team structures, giving the shooters a lot of opportunities to score.

Under-11s: Not scored.
The girls all played well and showed great effort. In attack, there was good movement in the goal circle and the team kept trying to create scoring opportunities.
Through the midcourt, players worked hard to move the ball down the court and support each other. In defence, the girls applied good pressure and worked hard to stay with their players.
