It was great to score a solid win after the week off.
After a slow start adjusting to a very physical opponent there was a reset at quarter time and the team started began playing to its strengths.
Players worked hard to put into motion what they had been focusing on at training, creating space in attack and looking for the smartest option for the pass.

A fantastic team performance.
The defensive pressure across the court set the tone from the opening whistle, and it was great to see everyone working together, supporting one another, and bringing plenty of energy and encouragement.
It was a very physical game, but the girls stayed patient, composed, and committed to playing their brand of netball.

Despite the win it wasn’t the team’s best performance. Players lacked connection through the midcourt and didn’t consistently execute the basics.
Enough opportunities were created to win by a bigger margin but the team didn’t make the most of them, but despite this were happy to record a win.

It was tough from start to finish but Toc’s plays down the court were amazing and helped record a good win.

A great win. It was an opportunity to try out some new combinations, and everyone embraced the challenge well.
The team will continue to work on angle drives and preliminary moves at training to keep improving our attacking options.

The cold weather made it a little hard to get going early, but once everyone warmed up they had plenty of fun, showed great teamwork, and gave it their all.
