Dramatic police chase across two states

The car was followed by police through Shepparton, Mooroopna, Echuca, Moama, Barmah, Nathalia and back to Shepparton before the chase ended about 5pm.

The police helicopter located the car in Nathalia and several attempts to stop the vehicle were made in Shepparton and Mooroopna.

The vehicle continued to allegedly drive erratically through Shepparton before it was dumped on McCracken St in Shepparton.

Police located and arrested a 19-year-old Mooroopna man, 20-year-old Shepparton man and 18-year-old Shepparton woman following a short foot pursuit on Wilmot Rd.

The woman has been charged with theft of motor vehicle and drug related offences and bailed to appear in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on October 27.

On Thursday morning the men were still being interviewed by police.

The police investigation remains ongoing.
