The awards program offers businesses the chance to reflect on their current practices and receive recognition for their accomplishments.
The awards aim to inspire community involvement in supporting local businesses and to highlight the vital connections between businesses, local employment, and the overall prosperity of our community.
In 2024, three new categories have been introduced — Excellence in Health and Wellbeing, Excellence in Marketing, and Community Impact.
The Excellence in Health and Wellbeing category allows businesses in this sector to showcase their business practices, skills and initiatives aimed at ensuring the ongoing health and wellbeing of our community.

The Excellence in Marketing category recognises creativity and innovation in promoting products, services, or destinations. This can focus on a specific campaign or an ongoing integrated marketing approach that delivers innovative strategies to support the promotion of your business.
The Community Impact category is a nomination-based award, where community members are invited to nominate a business or organisation whose selfless efforts have made a tangible, measurable contribution to the community.
To enter the awards, businesses must submit an (online) application form and if chosen as a finalist will be assessed by a judging process.
