Rotary revs up for Federation Festival

The Federation Festival Grand Street Parade hits the streets at 10am this Sunday.

Corowa Rotary Club is all set for a whirlwind weekend of festivities for the annual Federation Festival.

Kicking off on January 26, the Rotary Federation Dinner takes centre stage at the Corowa Civic Bowls Club, featuring the Tim Fischer Oration by local legend Gary Poidevin OAM.

Uncover the captivating tale of Gary’s father, Gordon George Poidevin, a wartime hero and Corowa community icon. Tickets at $65 via Try Booking.

Saturday night lights up with a dazzling fireworks display at RSL Park, sponsored by Club Corowa and Rivalea. Bring your picnic baskets and join the free community spectacle at 9:30pm.

Sunday starts with an Ecumenical Service at Bangerang Park at 9am, welcoming all backgrounds. The Grand Street Parade, themed ‘CARNIVAL,’ hits the streets at 10am, showcasing over 30 floats, vintage cars, and pipe bands. Don’t miss the monster market from 8:30am to 2pm in Bangerang Park. The Grand Parade competes for $1000 in shared prizes for the best floats. It’s a weekend not to be missed!
