Howlong golf’s new general manager

“I’m very excited for myself to get a general manager role in my home town,” the 42-year-old told The Free Press.

“I hope to assist the club going forward – it’s been through some dark times of late.”

The former Club Corowa operations manager for the past 18 months has 22 years in the hospitality industry which includes having managed the Balldale Hotel for two years and a St Kilda hotel for 15 years.

Simon is a self-confessed “poor golfer” with “a high handicap” but is full of praise for the golf course and facilities.
