The first GV Home Energy Expo will present a showcase of the latest information, products and advice from industry experts and local stallholders all aimed at helping residents and businesses reduce energy costs.
The event will be held at the McIntosh Centre at the Shepparton Showgrounds from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, June 14.
Attendees will have the chance to speak to providers and learn about home energy solutions such as solar panels, home batteries, weather sealing and energy efficiency assessments.
Greater Shepparton City Council manager environment Sharon Terry said the expo would “showcase real, practical solutions that people can apply in their homes and workplaces”.
“From small behaviour changes to larger upgrades, the aim is to help our community understand what options are available and how they can reduce energy use and costs over time,” Ms Terry said.
Food vendors will also be on site, and entry is free.
