Held from April 4–6 at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, the championships brought together the country’s best emerging multi-class swimmers, with the Corowa pair rising to the occasion against elite competition.
Hogan headlined the Sharks’ campaign in extraordinary fashion, producing a series of record-breaking swims that firmly established her among Australia’s elite junior para-swimmers.
She finished the meet with an outstanding eight-medal haul, securing four gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Her gold medal performances came in the 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 100m butterfly, and 200m individual medley, showcasing her dominance across multiple disciplines.
She also claimed silver medals in the 100m breaststroke and 50m breaststroke, and bronze medals in the 100m freestyle and 50m backstroke, underlining her versatility across all strokes.

Beyond the podium, Hogan etched her name into the record books, breaking five NSW S13 Girls 14 Years records in the 50m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 50m breaststroke, 100m butterfly and 200m IM, earning selection on the Swimming NSW “Mighty Blues” Honour Roll.
On the national stage, she set five Australian S13 Girls 14 Years records in the 100m breaststroke, 100m butterfly, 50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke, and 200m individual medley, confirming a dominant performance across the meet.
Her results not only underline her versatility and dominance but have also played a key role in elevating Corowa’s standing on the national stage, with the Corowa Sharks currently sitting 6th in the country based on Multi-Class Age Championships results.
While Hogan’s achievements drew attention, it was the performance of first-time national competitor Rylee Tukuniu that highlighted the club’s depth and future potential.
Competing at her first Australian Age Championships in the S14 Girls 14–15 events, Tukuniu showed composure beyond her years to secure multiple top 10 finishes, with her strongest result placing as high as sixth across the championships. Her standout swim came in the 100m breaststroke, while she also produced strong performances in the 50m freestyle, 100m backstroke and 100m freestyle.
