Well done, girls, on the last game of the season. We came away with a win, and it was an enjoyable game for all.
Score: Wahgunyah 11 Wodonga 5
Awards: EVERYONE!
Under 13s
It wasn't the end to the season that the U13s would have liked as they went down to the top of the table on the weekend. But they can certainly be very proud of what an absolutely amazing season they have had together as a team in 2024. Every single player has grown and improved their netball skills and there have been plenty of smiles and laughs along the way.
Congratulations little lions, let's look to continue to grow in 2025
Final Score: Wahgunyah 5 Wodonga 33
Awards: Lucia McLellan (AC HandyFab) Marli Upton (Canteen Award) Federation Cinema (Charlotte Lake).

Once again, the 17s had an amazing win against second-place Wodonga!
The win cemented the girl's spot in finals, and they will head into elimination finals fourth on the ladder!

C Reserve
The smiles that we have seen on the C res girls' faces as they have taken the court this season remained this week despite the miserable conditions.
It has been a fantastic inaugural season of C res for the WFNC, welcoming some new faces, bringing some old out of retirement and bringing the younger and older generations together to play the sport they love.
We can't wait to see what they can do next year as they come back fitter and stronger.
Final Score: Wahgunyah 18 Wodonga 30
Awards: Ashlee Marsden (Newmarket Hotel) Kate White (APCO Wangaratta).
C Grade
C grade finished off what was a fantastic season, strong this round. The girls have achieved so much over 2024 with not just 1 win after four seasons but finishing off with three for the year.
Their fighting spirit showed this week. Although they got off to a slow start in what can only be described as wet and dire conditions, they were able to fight back for the last three quarters, drawing even on the scoreboard. However, they went down by 17 goals after trailing by 17 at quarter time.
Final Score: Wahgunyah 29 Wodonga 46
Awards: Club Award (Samm Price) Origin Clothing (Sophie Ronnfeldt).
B Grade
B grade, having beaten Wodonga Saints at the start of the season, was hopeful that today, if playing as a team and putting in a four-quarter performance would come out successful.
Even at half time, it was anyone's to win. The girls came out in the third quarter and played consistent, patient netball. Everyone did the little 1% of chasing down the ball.
Final Score: 47 to 32. A fantastic win to end the season on a high. Great game ladles
Score: Wahgunyah 47 Wodonga 32
Awards: Elli Carter (Club Award) Toni Daley (Royal Hotel).
A Grade
A grade: Although we missed out on a finals appearance, finishing sixth on the ladder, we wanted to finish the year on a strong win.
It was goal for goal in the first quarter, weather conditions of a wet court made the game move slower. Which we had to adjust to.
Only five goals up at quarter break our second quarter made up for it with Morgan, Caity and George working hard in defence.
Half time score was 34-22.
Rahni Dickins and Toni Daley stood up and played exciting netball, they both played strong netball and didn't miss a beat in stepping up to A grade.
In attack, Danni was our best on court today, shooting 54 goals and missing 9 with 86%, and Taleaka only missed 1 goal shooting at 87% before going off with an ankle injury. Goals win games.
Tahli and Codij ran the mid-court seamlessly. Watching them improve has been a pleasure to watch.
Final Score: Wahgunyah 31 Wodonga 61
Awards: Danni Walsh (Club Award) Morgan McRae (Royal Hotel).
